Devon man jailed over 'drug farm' homes

A man who converted two houses in Devon into a drugs farm has been jailed.

Devon and Cornwall Police discovered 2,000 cannabis plants in the property at Copplestone near Crediton.

The drugs were discovered by a police helicopter with heat-seeking equipment after concerns were raised by neighbours.

Blerim Nela, 27, admitted production of a controlled drug and was sentenced to 30 months at Exeter Crown Court.
