Motorcyclist dies on way to Harley Davidson event

A motorcylist has died in a car accident in Devon while travelling to an event in Cornwall.

The man, 50, from Buckhurst Hill, Essex, was travelling to Cornwall for a Harley Davidson camping weekend when the incident happened.

Paramedics and the Devon Air Ambulance attended the incident at about 1120 BST on the B3212 at Longdown, near Exeter.

The driver of the car, a Honda Civic, was not injured. Police want to hear from anyone with information.

The motorcyclist's next of kin have been informed of his death.
