A convicted drug dealer is the seventh inmate to go on the run from an open prison in Derbyshire in the past month.

Darryl Jervier, 26, who was serving four years for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, disappeared from HMP Sudbury on Friday.

Derbyshire Police has warned the public not to approach him.

Last month, six prisoners, including inmates serving time for violent crimes, went on the run from the Category D men's prison.

One man has been missing for more than 20 years after being allowed out in 1992.

Jervier is described as black, 5ft 11in tall, of medium build, with brown eyes, shaved black hair and speaks with a London accent.
