Grandmother of killed baby boy speaks out

3 June 2014 Last updated at 11:24 BST

James-Lee Riley Pick died in 2012, aged seven months, after he suffered head injuries inflicted by his father, Nathan Pick.

In April, a report into his death said Derby care agencies had been given no indication of risks until months before his death, and were then "disempowered" by magistrates.

Now the boy's grandmother, Catherine Goldby from Derby, has spoken to BBC Radio Derby of how the death has affected her family.
