Two arrested over Derby lorry house crash

Two men have been arrested in connection with a lorry being rammed into a Derby house.

The vehicle, which had been stolen in Staffordshire, was driven into the building on Nottingham Road in the early hours of Monday.

Two men, aged 19 and 20, were arrested in Derby on Tuesday on suspicion of theft of a vehicle and criminal damage. They remain in police custody.

A decision on whether to demolish the property is expected shortly.
