Derby drugs raids: Twelve people charged

Twelve people have been charged with drugs offences after a series of raids across Derby.

Derbyshire police and the National Crime Agency searched several homes in the city on Tuesday, arresting 16 people, including a teenage boy.

Police have now charged 11 people with conspiracy to supply class B drugs and one other for production and possession of class B with intent to supply.

Four of those arrested were bailed pending further inquiries.

Seven of the people charged were remanded in custody while five were bailed. All 12 will appear at Derby Crown Court on 26 February.
