A 23-year-old man has pleaded guilty to the murder of his ex-girlfriend.

The body of Jade Riley-Ward, 30, was found by emergency services at a house on Burke Drive in Somercotes, Derbyshire, in September 2012.

A post-mortem examination revealed Ms Riley-Ward died from multiple stab wounds.

Cornelius Brown, of Greenhill Lane, Riddings, Derbyshire, entered a guilty plea at Nottingham Crown Court. He will be sentenced on 20 December.
