27 July 2013 Last updated at 16:09 BST

The Duke and Duchess of Devonshire have taken part in a 40th anniversary celebration for the visitors' farm at Chatsworth House.

Set up in 1973 by the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire, the farm was created to introduce farm animals to inner-city children who had little contact with the countryside.

Today the farm has more than 200,000 visitors a year.
