Driver injured as car hits Foston house

A 21-year-old motorist suffered serious head injuries when his vehicle crashed into a house in Derbyshire.

Police said the Ford Ranger came off the road in Sutton Lane, in Foston, shortly before 06:15 BST on Sunday.

The injured man was the only occupant of the car. The property was left extensively damaged.

Officers have appealed for anyone with information ‚Äčabout the crash to get in touch. Sutton Lane was closed for most of the day.
