A gang have used a crowbar to break into a shop during a robbery in Derbyshire.

Two men forced their way into the One Stop, in Charlotte Street, Ilkeston, at about 23:00 BST on Thursday by smashing the glass door.

A female member of staff who was emptying the cash machine tried to escape but was pushed to the floor and the cash was stolen.

But the getaway car crashed and the two men along with a third suspect ran off.

Police have appealed for any information on the raid.
