Sports hall damage in Derbyshire school fire

A sports complex at a Derbyshire boarding school has been severely damaged in a fire.

About 40 firefighters tackled the fire at St Anselm's school in Stanedge Road, Bakewell, at about 23:00 GMT on Saturday.

The fire, which started in the boiler room, was brought under control at about 02:00 GMT on Sunday.

Investigators said it was not being treated as suspicious. Pupils are expected to return as normal.
