Derbyshire drug deaths: Four arrested

Four people have been arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs following two deaths in Derbyshire.

Police investigating the deaths of a 20-year-old woman in Chapel-en-le-Frith on 22 December and an 18-year-old man in Buxton on 23 December have already arrested seven people.

They have been released on police bail.

The deaths are not being treated as suspicious, but are believed to be drug-related.

Derbyshire Police said the three men and one woman arrested were from the Chapel-en-Frith area.

A police spokesman said the victims had "probably used a combination of drugs as well as alcohol" and toxicology tests were under way.
