Two seriously hurt after substation crash in Derby
The white van hit the substation in Sinfin Lane, Derby
Two men were seriously injured when the van they were in hit an electrical substation in Derby.
Police said the white Renault Trafic vehicle lost control and left the road in Sinfin Lane at about midnight on Monday.
The driver and passenger were both taken to hospital with serious life changing injuries.
Western Power, which owns the substation, said the crash had no impact on electrical supplies.
Derbyshire Police have appealed for witnesses and information about the crash.
