Johnny Assani assault death: Three men jailed
Mohammed Tariq, Mohammed Rafiq and Mohammed Shahid have all been jailed
Three men have been jailed for the manslaughter of a Derby man who was attacked in the street.
Johnny Assani died from his injuries after the attack in August 2011.
At Nottingham Crown Court Mohammed Tariq, 27, of Walbrook Road, Derby, was jailed for seven years.
Reporting restrictions were then lifted on two other men: Mohammed Shahid, 34, and Mohammed Rafiq, 33, both Derby, who were cleared of murder but jailed last March.
They were jailed for six and a half years and eight years respectively.
Mr Assani, 43, suffered serious injuries in an attack in Walbrook Road on 14 August and died the following day in hospital.
Police said they were still looking for other people in connection with the attack.
