Esther Patterson gets British Design Award nomination
A lamp-maker from Derbyshire has joined the designers of the London 2012 velodrome and Olympic torch in being shortlisted for a British Design Award.
Esther Patterson founded her Curiosa and Curiosa design business in Wirksworth two years ago and has since sold her work to famous names including Jamie Oliver and Keira Knightley.
She described making the shortlist as "surreal".
