Derby park sexual assault: Police release e-fit

The victim worked with police to produce an image of her attacker

Police investigating a sexual assault in a Derby park have released an e-fit image of the attacker.

Officers said a man approached a 31-year-old woman while she was sitting on a bench in a park near Merchant Street at about 08:00 BST on 7 September.

The man was described as white, about 40-years-old, about 5ft 9in tall, of stocky build, and bald with blue eyes.

He was wearing a navy blue t-shirt, dark trousers and black trainers. He spoke with a local accent.

Officers said they would like to speak to anyone who recognises the man in the image or has any information about the incident.
