Evidence 'clears' David Lloyd George murder plotters

A descendent of a Derby woman who was found guilty of trying to assassinate Prime Minister David Lloyd George has travelled from Australia to fight to clear her great-grandmother's name.

In 1917, during World War I, Alice Wheeldon and two family members were jailed for allegedly plotting the murder.

Alice's great granddaughter Chloe Mason said new evidence showed they were framed.
