Derby father denies murdering baby son

A father from Derby accused of his baby son's murder has pleaded not guilty.

At Nottingham Crown Court Nathan Pick, 37, of Waterford Drive, Chaddesden, denied murdering his son, seven-month-old James Pick.

The boy was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital on 8 May before being transferred to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham where he died.

No applications for bail were made and the case was adjourned for a further hearing on 12 November.
