Armed robbery at Swadlincote amusement arcade
Police said two men wearing balaclavas stole cash from The New Empire on Thursday evening
Two men armed with knives and wearing balaclavas have carried out an armed robbery at a Derbyshire amusement arcade.
Police said they threatened staff and demanded cash at The New Empire on West Street, Swadlincote on Thursday.
The men ran off in the direction of Alexandra Road with "a quantity of cash" in a plastic bag after 18:00 BST.
Officers described the men as white, around 5ft 7ins (1.70 m) tall and of medium build.
One had short, dark hair and wore a black jacket. The other man wore a black hooded top with the hood worn up.
Police said they would like to hear from anyone who was in the West Street, Rink Drive, and Alexandra Road area to come forward if they saw anything suspicious.
