Two arrested after man stabbed in back in Derby

Two men have been arrested after a 37-year-old man was stabbed in the back during an alleged assault in Derby.

Police said the altercation happened in Curzon Street at about 18:50 BST on Thursday.

The injured man was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital where his condition is stable. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The men arrested, aged 31 and 32, are being questioned by Derbyshire Constabulary.

Witnesses are asked to contact the police and Crimestoppers.
