Teenager remanded over Ilkeston neck stabbing

A 19-year-old man has been remanded in custody over an attack in which another man was stabbed in the neck.

Police were called to Mill Street in Ilkeston at about 04:00 BST on Sunday following reports another 19-year-old had been assaulted.

He was treated in hospital for serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Jamie Waterall, from Ilkeston, was charged with wounding at Derby Magistrates' Court. He is due at the city's crown court on 25 June.
