Derbyshire's Ashbourne Market opens despite theft of stalls

Help

Traders at a Derbyshire town's market were forced to improvise after their stalls were stolen overnight.

Up to 60 stalls used by Ashbourne Market were taken when thieves broke into a depot.

Traders used boxes, the backs of vans and makeshift trestle tables to sell their goods as the council set about looking for replacement stalls.
