Teenager found in Allestree garden dies

A 19-year-old man has died after being found unconscious in the back garden of his Derbyshire home.

Police were called to a house in Carsington Crescent, Allestree, shortly after 10:30 GMT on Sunday after the man's family found him in the garden.

The teenager was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital for treatment, but he died later.

Police said a post-mortem examination was under way, but they were not treating the death as suspicious.
