Matlock Bath community to restore Grand Pavilion

Help

A group of volunteers is planning to restore a derelict pavilion in a Derbyshire town.

The Grand Pavilion in Matlock Bath has stood empty for the past three years. But now a charitable company set up to save the venue has agreed a deal with Derbyshire Dales District Council.

Matlock Bath Pavilion Group has been offered the lease on the building for just £1, if it can secure £2.5m in grants to make repairs.

The BBC's Kylie Pentelow reports.
