Murder charge after Johnny Assani Derby assault death

A man has been charged with murder after a man died following an assault in a Derby street.
Johnny Assani, 43, suffered serious injuries in the attack in Wallbrook Road on Sunday afternoon.
He was taken to Royal Derby Hospital and later transferred to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre, where he died on Monday.
A 33-year-old man is due to appear at Derby and South Derbyshire Magistrates' Court later.
Police have been granted more time to question two 32-year-old men, who were arrested on Tuesday morning, in connection with the death.
