Two boys arrested over Derby street robberies

Two boys have been arrested following two street robberies carried out in Derby.

In the first incident, a 23-year-old man was assaulted and had his laptop taken by a group of six youths in Ponsonby Terrace on Sunday evening.

And on Monday, a 28-year-old man was approached by a gang of youths in Great Northern Road. He was assaulted and his mobile phone was taken.

The two arrested, aged 12 and 15, were interviewed and released on bail.

Officers investigating the robberies are seeking four other suspects in connection with the incident.

Derbyshire Police has appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
