Barrow man dies after vehicle hits wall

A man has died in hospital after his car left the road in south Cumbria.

Anthony Robert Morgan suffered serious injuries when his Jensen Interceptor struck a wall in St George's Square, Barrow, at 17:10 BST on Thursday.

The 47-year-old from the town, was taken to Furness General Hospital, but later died. Cumbria Police said there were no other vehicles involved.

Mr Morgan's family said he was "much loved" and would be "sorely missed" by all his relatives and friends.
