Four die in three crashes on roads in Cumbria

Four people, three of them motorcyclists, died on Sunday in separate crashes on roads in Cumbria.

Iain Prestwich, 49, from Blencogo, Wigton, died on the A66 in a collision with a car driven by William Bell, 85, of Great Broughton, who also died.

Another motorcyclist later died in a crash on the A684 at Langston Fell.

In a third collision, on the A595 at Wicham Valley, a 66-year-old motorcyclist, who has not been named, was killed.
