Quad bike woman dies after crash in Sedbergh

A woman has died following a crash on a road in Sedbergh, Cumbria.

A Land Rover and a quad bike collided on the Old Scotch Road in the south of the county shortly after 09:00 GMT.

The woman driver of the quad bike, who has not yet been identified, was transported to Royal Lancaster Infirmary where she later died.

The 43-year-old woman driver of the Land Rover was not injured. Cumbria Police collision investigation officers attended the scene.
