Andrew Taylor killed in A595 crash at Foxfield

A man died when the car he was driving collided with a lorry in South Cumbria.

Andrew Taylor, 47, from Parkhouse Court in Barrow, was behind the wheel of a Peugeot 307, when it collided with a lorry on the A595 at Foxfield.

Cumbria Police said Mr Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene after Wednesday's crash.

A force spokesman said the 38-year-old lorry driver, from Otterburn in Northumberland, was uninjured. An appeal for witnesses has been made.
