Kyle Twentyman jailed for Raymond Pattinson road death

A driver who who killed his pedestrian friend has been jailed.

Raymond Pattinson, 20, of Edinburgh Road, Maryport, was hit by a car in Allonby in March 2012.

Kyle Twentyman, 22, of Main Street, Allonby, was originally charged with manslaughter, but this was later changed to causing death by dangerous driving, to which he pleaded guilty.

He was jailed at Carlisle Crown Court jailed him for two-and-a-half years and banned from driving for three.
