Freight train derails on Sellafield line
Train services on a line in south Cumbria have been suspended following the derailment of a freight train travelling to the Sellafield plant.
The engine was travelling at about 5mph (8km/h) when it came off the line near Roose.
Network Rail said the Direct Rail Services train was not damaged and remained upright. It was not carrying any nuclear material at the time.
No trains are running between Lancaster and Barrow.
A replacement bus service is in operation for passengers.
