A 21-year-old woman died of a heroin overdose at her home in Cumbria, an inquest has heard.

The body of Demi Burns was found by her partner at her home in Newlands Gardens, Workington, on 11 November.

The 28-year-old was arrested on suspicion of murder but later released without charge.

Deputy coroner Robert Chapman recorded a verdict of misadventure, ruling that Miss Burns died from complex drug toxicity primarily due to heroin.
