Jack-knifed lorries and ice-related crashes cause delays
Four jack-knifed lorries and more than a dozen ice-related crashes have been causing disruption on roads in Cumbria.
Police have urged motorists to take care as ice and snow has been making many roads "treacherous".
Officers have dealt with four lorries that became stuck on the A66 at Stainmore and various crashes near junction 36 on the M6.
Roads closed include the A686 between Alston and Melmerby and Briscoe Road in Carlisle.
