Keswick hospital revamped in £1.25m project

Work has started on a £1.25m project to revamp a Cumbrian hospital.

The project at Keswick's Mary Heweston Community Hospital will improve facilities for patients including en-suite facilities in all rooms.

It is being funded by Keswick Hospital League of Friends, NHS Cumbria and Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

The project is due to be completed in late spring. The hospital will carry on providing services during the work.
