Man arrested after Keswick fire damages three homes

A 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a house fire in Cumbria spread to neighbouring properties.

The fire destroyed one home in Windebrowe Avenue, Keswick, in the early hours of Saturday.

Cumbria Police said the man was questioned and later bailed pending further inquiries.

Bob Nixon, from Cumbria Fire and Rescue, said one family had lost most of their possessions in the blaze.
