The sudden death of a one-year-old girl is being investigated by police in Cumbria.
Paramedics were called to a house in Barrow just after 06:00 GMT and the girl was taken to hospital where she died.
Cumbria Police said they were investigating the circumstances surrounding her death on behalf of the coroner, "as is normal".
It said relatives were receiving support.
