Demi Burns death probe: Man bailed by Workington police

A man arrested on suspicion of the murder of a 21-year-old Cumbrian woman has been released on bail.

The body of Demi Burns, 21, was found at her home in Newlands Gardens, Workington, on Sunday after police received a call about a sudden death.

The 28-year-old local man was questioned by detectives and released on bail pending further inquiries.

A post-mortem examination has been carried out and further tests are ongoing to establish a cause of death.
