Piotr Kulinski death: Five men and one woman remanded

Six people charged in connection with the death of a Polish man stabbed in Carlisle have been remanded in custody.

Police were called to an address in Arnside Road, Harraby, on 14 October where they found the body of Piotr Kulinski, 32.

Two men and a woman have been charged with murder and three men have been charged with assisting an offender.

All six, from Poland, appeared at Carlisle Crown Court and were remanded until 18 February.

Those charged with murder are Piotr Zygner, 30, Pauline Mucha, 26, and Sylwester Kawalec, 23, all of Currock Road, Carlisle.

Those charged with assisting an offender are Artur Skoczen, 30, of Ashman Close; Adam Karpuk, 23, of Summerhill; and Artur Woszczyna, 44, of Beverley Rise, all Carlisle.
