Police in a south Cumbria town are moving from their current base.

Their previous home in Millom, which was next to the old court, is being put up for sale as part of a review by the force which identified expensive and under-used buildings.

From Tuesday, officers will operate out of an office in the Network Centre.

A police spokesman said: "There is a tight knit community in Millom and we are committed to working alongside them."
