Seventh arrest over man's stab death in Carlisle

A seventh person has been arrested in connection with the death of a man at a house in Carlisle.

Police were called to Arnside Road on Sunday morning where Piotr Kulinski was found with stab wounds.

Originally from Poland, the 32-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

An 18-year-old man from Carlisle of Polish origin, has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. Six other people remain under arrest.

On Monday, five men, aged between 23 and 40, were arrested on suspicion of murder and 26-year-old woman was held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
