Minister Stephen Hammond to see A590 plan on Cumbria visit
Plans to make a road junction in Cumbria safer will be looked at by a government minister when he visits the county on Tuesday.
Road Safety Minister Stephen Hammond will visit the A590, described by South Cumbria's Coroner as "littered with tragedy along its length".
In June, the Government pledged to make money available to create a roundabout on the road at Greenodd.
Barrow's Labour MP John Woodcock said the plans "need to progress".
