Mother and daughter appeal against pigeon conviction


A Cumbrian woman and her daughter who were convicted of ignoring a council order to stop so many feral pigeons coming to their home have begun an appeal against their conviction and sentence.

Monica and Janet McIntosh were told last year to stop feeding the birds because they were causing an "intolerable nuisance" to their neighbours.
