Cannabis seized in Cumbria

Four people have been arrested and "a significant amount of cannabis" recovered following early morning police raids in south west Cumbria.

Three properties in Millom were searched on Wednesday and three men aged 21, 22 and 40 have been arrested.

In one of the premises approximately 1.65lb (0.75kg) of cannabis was seized, with an estimated street value in excess of £4,000.

A 45-year-old woman from Milnthorpe has also been arrested.

A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "Properties on Bank Head, Palmers Lane and Fair Field Road, were all subject of a warrant search.

"A significant amount of cannabis was found at the property on Bank Head."
