John Woodcock said he was assaulted on a train from Lancaster to Barrow
A second man has been arrested in connection with an attack on a Cumbrian MP on a train.
John Woodcock, the Labour MP for Barrow, said he was assaulted while travelling from Lancaster to Barrow on Thursday night.
A 20-year-old Barrow man was arrested and was later reported for summons in relation to a public order offence.
Another man, 29, has been reported for summons in relation to a public order offence and an allegation of assault.
No date has been set yet for either court appearance.
The shadow transport minister said he was attacked after challenging them about anti-social behaviour.
He was not injured in the incident.
