Rugby flat death: Man charged with Shana Tanesia Cover murder

A man has been charged with the murder of a woman found dead at her Warwickshire flat.

Owen Anthony Williams, 50, appeared at Leamington Magistrates Court accused of killing Shana Tanesia Cover, 34.

Ms Cover's body was found at her home in Morton Gardens, Rugby, on 21 August. Mr Williams, of Grizedale, Rugby, was charged on Thursday evening.

The case was committed to crown court and Mr Williams was remanded in custody until 21 November.

Police said the last reported sighting of Ms Cover was on 14 August, a week before her body was discovered.
