Rugby murder suspect arrested after woman found dead

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead at a house in Warwickshire.

The victim, believed to be in her 30s, was found by police in Morton Gardens, off Lower Hillmorton Road, in Rugby at about 11:00 BST on Thursday.

She is yet to be formally identified and a post-mortem examination is due to take place later, Warwickshire police said.

The man, in his 40s, is being questioned at Nuneaton police station.
