Baby badly hurt as taxi overturns at M6 junction

A two-month-old baby suffered serious head injuries when he was thrown from a taxi which overturned on the M6.

The boy was airlifted to hospital after Monday evening's crash at junction two for Coventry.

Two girls, aged six and three, a boy of two and a woman in her 30s were also taken to hospital.

The baby's father was uninjured in the crash, which involved no other vehicles. He was taken with his son to Birmingham Children's Hospital.

The other children, who sustained minor injuries, and the woman, who had back pain, were taken to University Hospital, Coventry.
