Woman arrested over lorry crash which caused M6 closure

A woman has been arrested in connection with a crash that closed the M6 southbound in Warwickshire for more than eight hours.

A lorry overturned and caught fire between junction 4A and 4 at about 09:40 BST on Friday. The driver suffered minor injuries.

Police have revealed a woman, 38, was arrested in Birmingham on Friday on suspicion of dangerous driving.

She has been bailed pending further inquiries, Warwickshire police said.
