- From the section Coventry & Warwickshire
Police investigating the disappearance of Nicola Payne have begun a search at a nature reserve.
A small area of grassland at the Stoke Floods beauty spot was cordoned off while officers carried out a "preliminary search".
Ms Payne was last seen in the Henley Green area of Coventry on 14 December 1991, when she was aged 18.
Two men, aged 49, arrested in December last year on suspicion of her abduction and murder remain on police bail.
A woman, 51, who was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, was also bailed.
West Midlands Police said specially-trained officers would also search the woodland around the "area of interest".
The force said Ms Payne's family had been informed of the latest developments.
In June 2012, police searched parkland off Purcell Road after receiving new information about the case.
A body has never been discovered but Ms Payne's mother Marilyn has previously said she did not expect her daughter to be found alive.
No charges have been brought in connection with the case to date.
